With over 30 years of hospitality management and design experience, Jill La Fleur, Founder & Creative Director for La Fleur Weddings & Events, has set the stage as a premier innovator and trendsetter in the industry. With a career starting at the Four Seasons Chicago taking her to beautiful Santa Barbara, CA, she has been running her successful wedding and event production business for over 20 years working at some of the most exclusive properties and with some of the best vendors around the world, specializing in curating and designing lavish destination weddings & events. She was recognized by Martha Stewart Weddings as one of the top wedding planners in the world, was nominated in the top 3 Wedding Planners in the World at Amour Forums Vienna, and one of her designed weddings was awarded as the Top Wedding by Style Me Pretty. She is best known for her calm demeanor, her sense of style and grace even in the most stressful of situations as well as her ability to personalize and make every wedding & event special and unforgettable handling every detail and pulling them all together in a unique, incredibly beautiful way!

 

Married to the love of her life, Gokhan Filiz, her partner in business and in life, they get to share their love of hospitality and events together as they work most all of their events together as a team. He has his degree in hospitality and a background as a Hotel General Manager but as a former National Record holding athlete in his country and his years of working as a Health & Wellness Coach as the owner of  www.eattrainrecover.com.

Jill and her family love to travel and their passion has always been to plan weddings in new, beautiful destinations around the world!

Having their feet in both the East and the West with homes in Santa Barbara, CA, and also in the beautiful and charming town of Alacati on the Aegean Coast of Turkey where they also run a boutique petite Chateau (Chateau de La Fleur), they pull much of their design aesthetic from their personal travels and cultural influences from around the globe and have developed amazing contacts worldwide to help you with planning your destination event!

Jill's incredibly talented and charming son is also in the industry as well! Formerly a luxury resort manager, he has now pursued his passion of cinematography and is often working events as the wedding filmmaker for many of Jill's weddings (if she doesn't steal him away to assist her!)
